Rayan Kouatly

Rayan Kouatly has more than 30 years of legal experience in corporate law and serves as Legal Consultant at Mithaq. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, arbitration, and the oil and gas sector, and has extensive experience in banking law, maritime law, real estate, and construction contracts. Since 2017, he has served as Secretary General of the Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center (LAMC), contributing to its development into a prominent regional arbitration centre. During his tenure, the Centre has administered cases with a combined value exceeding USD 1 billion. Rayan has advised government entities and local, regional, and international companies. His experience also encompasses data privacy and laws relating to emerging technologies. He has served on the boards of regional organisations and business councils and regularly speaks at regional and international conferences on arbitration, oil and gas, and related legal matters.
